I always get nervous when the big guy takes my minivan anywhere. We do not sit out here as much as we should but when we do, I will have to say our bums are comfy despite the fact that these rockers were not my first pick…well, they weren’t my pick at all. My Aldi rocking chairs are still doing just fine. Let’s see those birds try to take my door knocker and make a nest with it. Any by “installed” I really mean I used command strips to secure that bad boy on the door. I installed a door knocker in it’s place.

I gave her a little update recently and not even one week after I had her up on my door, birds started stealing my eucalyptus to make a nest. As you can see she no longer lives on my front door. I’ve been constantly fighting with my wreath too. Painting your front door can be one of easiest things you can do to transform your front porch. I’ve painted all my exterior doors this color as well as a few interior doors.

I purchased mine at Walmart and they might still carry them. I’ve also had a few people ask where I found my coir rug. This rug (and this)would be a great replacement and has great reviews. (Update-It’s restocked!!! You can find it here.)Īnd it’s out of stock again (ugh!). It’s hands down the number one thing I get asked about on my porch. My plaid rug is still kicking it out here too. I just found a very similar version on Amazon and they come in multiple colors. I purchased mine from Walmart and I do not think they have them again this year. They are the same from last year and are holding up great. I had them stored in the basement and safe from mean ol’ Mr. Now it’s time to break out the good stuff again…like my pillows. Sadly, it never looked out of place with this crazy weather we had this year. I’ve had a mini Christmas tree on my front porch from when I decorated the front porch for Christmas until just a few weeks ago. Mother Nature gave me absolutely no time to get this porch cleaned and ready for porch season.

I am currently drenched in sweat and on a mad dash trying to get my front porch ready for summer. One day it felt like winter and the next day it was 85 degrees and nasty humid out.
